I'm guessing the sound of the Formula 1 cars is worse than birds chirping if you try and sleep in while you camp.

    Looks like a fun weekend.

Looks like a great week-end!!!! For those that work at the Indy track their morning alarm clock is the medavac chopper coming in to land. Hard to hit snooze on that bird chirping.

Looks like a great time! I go to races here on occasion. Getting a pic of those cars is a challenge!

    No, wasn't me......LOL...This time.

We camped at our track, while racing....6 people in a 4 man tent....kinda crowded...but part of the experience.
Not really much sleeping going on...... too many crews working all night to get a cars ready, and partying.....you don't hear any birds.
    You want to sleep....stay home.

Sounds of racing motors at 12000 rpm, the smell of fuel and Castrol, burning rubber....ah yes.

Thanks for taking us along..... I can just smell it right now.....

I walked the track after the race and picked up a few tyre 'marbles', was surprised how soft that stuff is.
