Hello,
I signed up a while back and sorta' forgot because I didn't receive an activation email. I did a Google search relating to the Mosin-Nagant, and when this site popped up I had an "oh, yeah!" moment.
I had the site re-send the activation email and I got it this time around.
It's good to be here. I belong to a couple other survival-oriented sites and find them interesting. I grew up tent camping and experimenting with old methods of making fire, using slings and atlatls, and even making some really primitive bows around age 10. (I liked archaeology and tried to replicate it. I'd not heard the term "experimental archaeology" until relatively recently, like the past 10 years or so.)
So anyway, talking about myself makes me sorta' uncomfortable so I'll stop here. If you want to know anything, please ask and I'll do my best to answer.
Mostly though, the intent of this post is only "I'm here, and it's good. Thank you for having me."
Regards,
Josh
