Tobacco is highly regulated is Wisconsin....but still grown.
No where near the amounts of the past.....
Tobacco barns are everywhere around SW Wisconsin....mostly in disrepair, and being torn down for the "barn wood".

There a was a .1 th. acre tobacco allotment that came with my land....but had to be used at least one every 5 years , or some such.....
Farmer that wanted to lease my allotment, backed out at the last minute.....so I lost it.....
    Was worth $9000 in 1992......(land was $10000 in 1989)

Goes down as a "Oh Well"

This is a matter of taste, and tastes are different, so it might not count for much...but I wish that whatever KY does to their tobacco for their cigarette "Kentucky's Best" would be figured out by others. I'm really particular on what my cigarette tastes like. Well, at least I was when I still smoked. And when I was in KY I discovered their cigarette. It was luscious. I made sure to get a carton and bring back with me when I left. Haven't looked, but don't know if you could order such a thing online.

We get young virgins to pee on the plants in the light of the full moon.

That is the only brand that uses that tobacco because it is scarce due to there only being three girls available.

If you decide to eat .300BO rounds at least refrain from lighting your farts!

Coffee, however nothing goes better with coffee or bourbon than the taste of tobacco, be it smokes or Copenhagen.

I have never tried washing down chew with bourbon.

Don't think I am going too either.

They are cutting tobacco in my neighborhood this week. Wagon load after wagon load heading to the barns ad the fields left as raggedy as one can imagine. There are enough leaves left hanging on the stalks to keep half the smokers in the nation happy for a long time.

I am pretty sure a couple of leaves off most of these big Burley stalks would make a whole carton of smokes.

Lots of folks I grew up with dip and drink. I could do the whiskey. But, never got the hang of drinking beer or water when I chew. I got a little green on some Redman when I first started chewing and every time I drink beer or coke or water with dip or chew in my mouth. I got that memory.

I chewed plug mostly Work o Day or Levi Garret. Now, you mostly can only find Levi Garret in a pouch.

I smoked 3 packs a day of them cowboy killers from 1980 until I quit em cold turkey on February 15, 2001. I will occasionally buy a pouch of tabacco. But, it'll usually dry out on me before I finish it.

Bulleit Frontier Rye will slide right on by a chew though. Still leaves a tickle in my throat. But, not like drinking a beer with a chew in.
