Howdy y'all
my nic pretty much says who I am. I raise organic grass fed/grass finished beef, also run the ag side of an organic biology based fertility company (specializing in rangeland management & native prairie restoration). I currently live in central Texas & travel ALL over the state for work. I am a (non practicing) licensed paramedic, former firefighter, former machinist, former machanic, former welder, former......................
there realy is not much I have not done (at least not much I ever wanted to do that I have not tried)... I worked as a hunting guide in western Montana many years ago & go back to the mountains as often as I can. I would seriously love to be able to find a place up in the mountains 2 day horseback ride from the nearest road to homestead. To date my longest treck into the wilderness was 14 months in the Bob Marshal.
I am into shooting (hand guns, rifles, shothuns, recurve & compound bows), fishing, horses, blacksmithing & tinkering (last project was construction of a few wind generators, currently building a composite plane).
before I get toooooo long winded I'll put the brakes on & get on with sifting through some of the forums....
be warned, I tend to ask questions....
