If I had a nickle for every time I've done that I'd have a couple of nickles. Once you conquer that you are well on your way to face plants.

Actually it is usually the downhill portion oof the climb that most tears up my feet. I can climb 7000 feet, from Turkey Creek to Manning in a single day with a 90lb ruck, no problem. But coming down that steep incline with a pack full of kitchen seems to kill my feet no matter what boots I wear. Over the years I have lost every toenail, a few twice or more. Mountains in AZ tend to be steep.

Someone please do society a favor, cut the ropes.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
That's basically what canyoneering is, though I can't say face first is the correct orientation for most the more vertical and technical scenarios.

Now Hunter, if you saw a toddler crawling down the stairs head first you know what you would be thinking, "that kid's a couple of peanuts short of a gallery! He'll fall a couple of times and learn."
I watched that clip and wondered if their mamas knew they were crawling head first down the stairs.

Yeah, but they got all of us to watch. It's amazing how stupid stuff on Youtube is like drawing a moth to the light.
I don't have tv but listen to This Is That on the radio. Here's another bit of satire.
I was almost impressed. A TRUE artisan would have held his little pinky out when snipping the fuzz from the log. These guys have a way to go yet.
I love youtube parodies. It is amazing to see the creativity of people when there isn't a production crew to mess everything up.
I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

"Artisanal Firewood" is great, and all too true. Some people will buy anything if is organic, made in the Third World, handcrafted or custom. Trust me, I went to school in California.
A little bit of searching wlll uncover videos that show artisanal water crafters and custom pencil sharpeners.
