    Spent "a few days"' in the Uwharrie this time of year in 1978. Spent most of that time running and hiding from the 82nd bad guys. Other than that it is beautiful country and the people were great too.

    Now we know why so many of your photos are at an interesting angle, yup, that first pic says it all.
    Looks very much like the area I grew up in. Thanks for the reminder.
