    So I've listed down the most essential items to secure at home when an disaster strikers. Hope this helps!

    • a 3 day supply of clean water (at least 1 gallon per person per day)
    • medications (esp. for maintenance)
    • first aid kit in case for injuries
    • hygiene supplies
    • flashlight with extra batteries (always)
    • battery powered radio with extra batteries
    • important docs and IDs
    • food (something that won't spoil easily)
    • cash
    • maps of the neighborhood

    Good List. How does Germany handle disaster preparation - what agencies in the country help with disasters? Is there a FEMA or Red Cross in your country??
