couple recent projects
I recently made up a couple triangular awls from old triangular files. Annealed then formed and then heat treated. These are used similar to a gimlet.

That's good thinking.....those files could be used as strikers if they weren't sharpened ?

Very nice. Are you going to make the round awls when you get a round tuit?
I have a plethora of round tuits, so many that it can be hard to get around tuit
