    Default D2 and Carbon Fiber

This one is a little different than what I usually make but I thought what the heck. I think this profile would look good with a nice burl wood and regular finished blade also, but for this one I put carbon fiber scales and 1/16" pins, which gave me a run for my money, getting those small pins in that carbon fiber was a major pain for some reason. I then just sand blasted the whole knife to give it a nice frosty look.

It took me so long to get the 8 1/16" pins in this darn thing the epoxy set up and I ended up getting a few bubbles in the back fill, I guess that's just how the cookie crumbled on this one.

5/32 stock thickness D2 tool steel
    8 1/4" total length, 3 1/2" blade
handle is bead blasted carbon fiber scales, nickel silver bolster, 1/16" nickel silver pins and 1/4" tube.

Wow. That's a beaut. The carbon fiber gave it a cool look.
