    That's peculiar, right? I mean, I never wintered i nova scotia, but I spent 5 in eastern new brunswick, 4 of which were pretty snowy.

    The weather tends to be more moderate near sea level. I'm in the highlands where it's more alpine. Being able to use a snowmobile all winter is the norm, right now i have green grass in my yard. Must be because I went out and bought a snowblower.

    Bingo!....The most snow we have gotten after the new snow blower was about 1 inch....was like swatting a fly with a hammer.
    Neighbors were using brooms.....
