That looks amazing. Do your driving safe and stay warm.

I am jealous, Hunter. The place looks good in pictures, I am sure in person it is 10x better.

    Thanks for sharing with us!

We had a wet dusting yesterday. Less than 1/2 inch. Ground was too warm for it to stay long. Good thing, too, 'cause it was snowing like crazy for a while.

    Yeah, lots around.

There is a ravine between 'The Place", and "the piece we named "Unit two".....is filled with "scree", ..rocks and gravel washed down the hill.
Lots of cert....but most has a random "grain" pattern, so finding a useable piece to knap points and blades is tough.
You can pick up pieces to use for "flint" and steel in the driveway.

Taken a couple of years ago...but my favorite pic of "The Place" in winter.

Well I'm glad someone is taking care of my need for a snow fix. We haven't had snow in a couple of years and I do love snow. Thanks H!

Not a real lover of the white stuff.

This is from 2 years ago an cost me a couple of hundred dollars to sort out.

I got even with that tree and cut the sucker down in October just to avoid a repeat.

I love snow. I don't even mind driving in it per se. What I do not like is when I have to drive along side those who do not know how to drive in it. That seems to be constant since I have moved much further south from where I grew up.

KyRat, you are lucky that branch wasn't any bigger! I am not sure what your caliber is like, but mine was a piece of junk and wouldn't be surprise of a branch that size would have done something to the steering or suspension. That is the first time I have been truly happy and rejoiced at getting rid of a car!

Here’s my front door last march. After a lifetime of shoveling my guts out I’ve finally broken into the piggy bank and bought a new Toro snow blower, but I’m still not looking forward to it.
