Christmas Key Fob Tutorial

The fob is a simple solomon bar that is bent into a circle and then continued straight from the place where the circle joins. I started with 2 36" lengths of 2 mm cord. I tied a slip knot in the green cord leaving a 9" length for the core of the solomon bar. Red cord is positioned as shown also with 9" for the core.

Put the red cord on top and begin the solomon bar. Continue until there are 10 green loops on the left side and the red cord is coming out on the right.

Bend the solomon bar around and put the red and green cords through the top loop,

Pull on green cord to close the top loop snug against the red and green cords.

Pull on red and green cords to close the circle.

Using the outer cords begin solomon bar keeping the red cord on top. Tie as many bars as you want. Trim and heat seal the ends or finish with a 4 strand diamond knot as I did in the first photo.
