5-11 Rush 24 zipper question

I have Googled my fingers off and cannot find a reason or explanation for this, but I just got a Rush 24 and the zippers seem to be a bit wide and the pull strings will pull out when I pull them to lateral. This is the first Tactical type bag I have ever purchase so I am unsure if this is intended. I have always just had regular backpacks or hiking packs.

I did email them. It has been a couple of days and I have not heard back from them. It just seems odd they would come off so easy without a reason.

Not understanding the bit wide part.....Do the zippers break open?.....won't stay closed?.....what strings?......

So here is what I am talking about. The zipper space seems to be very wide. All of the zippers are like this. It does not take much pressure to pull the pull tab right out. I could probably take some pliers to them and reduce the gap, but I am not able to figure out if this is intentional. I cannot assume it is. I have emailed 5.11 a few times now and received no response. I will probably call them at some point, but really It just seemed odd.

OK got it....so the string pull out....Right?
Maybe bigger pulls?....

I still call them before I would start mod-ing the bag....they may not stand behind the product if you do.
