Thread: Old Rag

    Default Old Rag

I took a 3 day trip to Virginia last week. My main goal was doing the curcuit
hike of Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah National Park.
I was able to hike/scramble/climb to the summit but my camera was not, or at
least it's battery. I thought I would share what pictures I was able to take
and tell you a bit about them:

Shenandoah National Park HQ, at the bottom of Thorton Gap, near Luray.

My first day there I just scouted out views and how to get here and there.
Another goal was to hike up to the summit of Hawksbill Mountain, the highest
    peak in the park

I was more than disappointed when, at the summit, I discovered I was unable to
take more pictures. Oh well, there are plenty of pictures of the summit on the
    internet if you’re interested.
