I purchased a knife online and the manufacturer told me to chose steel either Mova or Bohler , I don't know nothing about nor of them can you guys help me to chose one?

Mova is a proprietary steel equal to AN58

Bohler is a brand name of knife steel usually a type of 440 stainless.

They are both used widely in the Spanish knife industry.

I believe Bohler makes several different types of knife grade steel, if we are talking the same BOHLER, they are making quite a name for them selves and some of there powdered steels are awesome like ELMAX and Bohler K294 even the lower end N690 and n695 which is there "440" stainless, at any rate they are all good for what they are intended for. I have been wanting to get my hands on some ELMAX but its always sold out.

Yes , of course , it is coming from Spain to USA and than in Georgia to I think it will take about 1 month or more till I will recieve it
