They says all good things come to an end.

When I was young there were pictures of H&R SS guns with shotgun and rifle barrels from back in the 1930s, but they were no longer in production and I was saddened that such a good idea was no longer available to me.

Then for about 10 years we had them back, and some of us took advantage of it and some thought they were clunky, old fashioned and not up to the taticool standards of the 21st century.

I have enjoyed mine and intend to continue doing so for as long as I am able to shoot. Then the grandkids will get their turn.

I hear you guys. I missed out on the H&R bandwagon, but partook in the Rossi and they quit their too. It sucks.....

    Rossi has not stopped!

Their website still shows matched pairs and matched sets available and my normal supplier has a good selection of them available.

And we all know that Rossi SS guns skip the trip back to the factory for fitting.

That $25 shipping fee and the $25 fitting fee and 3 weeks without the gun was often a put-off when added to the price of an H&R barrel.
