    Default MINISHELLS by "Aguila"

I use the "Aguila" 12 gauge Minishells in my Ithica 37 for pest control. They are only 1 1/2" long. I have 7 1/2 shot and slugs. I just keep full'house load in the firearm till I want to switch. They will not cycle a Autoloader. But they would be twice as good for survival food fetching and you can carry twice as many. When I bought these they are $6.95 for a box of 20.

Where did you get them at?
    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.

I got about 10 boxes of each at Alaska shooters supply. But I have seen then other places. They are so small that hey come in a box just like Tooth Paste. If you don't find them stop by on your way to Homer. Try Boondocks there in buzzard gulch.

Thanks for the info. According to their home page they should cycle flawlessly in my Winchester Defender. Gonna give those babies a try just for fun and see if Mexican ammo is to my liking.

Great idea HopeAk! I usually stay away from stuff like this because I think my 12ga should have full power at all times. It makes sense for pest control or not obliterating small game when your hungry. Nothing like squirrel hamburger from a 2 3/4 #8 at 10yds!
    Good reminder, THANKS!!!

The mini shells are great for home defense as well. I'm talking about an intruder in your house. we are talking about maybe 20 feet distance. they also have a buckshot shell. The shells will also feed properly in my Mossey 500. The bird shot shells are great for squirels.

lol you go to jail for shooting an ARMED home invader in canada so... would thoes cycle in a Rem 870? im not really for weak rounds over storage space but thoes would work good for small game , very costly in comparison to the tested and true .22LR which has better range and are much smaller then these but some people just like shotguns. and if your a real heckler you can buy .22 shorts which are evn smaller or the pellet sized .22 CB or just a pelletgun which i say are the most economical of all firearms (and yes pellet guns with 500+ FPS ARE firearms in canada / interesting note it is as hard to get a crossman quest 1000 as it is to get a barett M82 .50BMG sniper rifle )
