    Default Les Stroud injured in Vehicle Accident

    Nothing life threatening it appears, but there is no such thing as "flat terrain" off road at night IMO. Always a few washes or ditches etc.



    I did some minor damage to the under carriage of my Toyota 4runner a few years ago at night when I really did not need to be driving around. I knew there was a ditch in that general area and should have just waited until sun up to move my vehicle to a better location closer to my campsite at a WMA. Same thing for hog hunting, fun to do it from a pickup truck but an ATV at lower speeds is often safer, or by foot at night.

    Might drive right into the footprint of a "Bigfoot".

    broken ribs are very painful. it will take him a few months to fully recover from it. best wishes from our house

    Broken, bruised or torn ribs all hurt like hell, take forever to heal and Mr. Murphy almost guarantees you will get a cold or something that causes you to sneeze non-stop! No fun at all!
