Default Who will post for you?

With Hunter's bypass, Williepete's cancer, etc. do you have anyone that would come and let us know if something happened to you? If you died suddenly, would you just fade into the obscurity of the internet?

The National Month of Mourning should be a tip-off to all of you if I were to go unexpectedly.

Very good point. I have all my favorite websites/forums as small tabs when I turn on the computer. Guess I should tell DH that......

I expect my brother would let people know if I croaked. It's something I've been thinking about for several years, since forums are becoming a big part of how we socialize.

Many of us here are friends on facebook. (Even 2dumb is one of my facebook friends - his family begged me to accept his friend request and their check arrives in my mailbox every month like clockwork.) I'm sure any bad news would arrive here in minutes.

I would not fade into obscurity but I doubt if anyone would think to post here. You'd probably have to Google my name.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

Flags will be at half staff, women around the world will be wailing and the sun will be just a little dimmer when I go.

Ow gee wiz, that's just too sweet. I had thought about that four years ago AFTER my three heart attacks, but true to form I still have not covered that. You know why, because I am the worlds class A number1 procrastinator. Believe me no truer words were ever spoken. It is something that all of us need to do, as you never know. I had a wake up heart attack on a Sunday evening, on Tuesday morning coded on the heart kat lab. You just don't know what may happen.

P.S. I just thought I should add the good news, my last MRI the first of Nov was clear, I am cancer free. I also still have not had a smoke since Sept 26 2012.

Every time an older person dies, its like burning a full set of encyclopedias that will never be published again. So, if you ever want to learn more of anything, just find a old tradesman and hang out with him and then when he passes on, not the full set will burn, you'll have parts of it to pass on to others.

Mrs. Crash doesn't do internet forums. Enough people have my email, phone or address that they would be able to contact her.

Hmm, well I guess that eventually you all would just realize that I am no longer around,BF does not do internet or computers, with the exception of reading books on a kindle fire ( my one gift he relented to our first CHRISTmas together). My daughter was a member for a very short period of time, and other then that I have a sneaking suspicion that my ex joined after I moved out as well, but I don't think anyone would get online to let any of my online friends (or distant family for that matter). A few on here have my phone number so I guess if they called my phone they would find out from whoever answers.

No one has to have your password. They just have to know to come here and let us know.

I would probably just fade away to Internet obscurity. Wife and kids can't never remember my password to my computer. They might think about using my phone, but probably not.
