That is old news do you mean Army National Guard? and Iraq's Army that just gives them to ISIS?

Now the deal with Chinese company from 2009 is no longer a problem if the Chinese were not strapped for cash they could buy what is left and transfer production from Indiana to China... perhaps the Iranians will buy them from China and pay for it in oil... then the Iranians can surrender them to ISIS... OH just having a bit of demented fun here.

If they were giving Humvees away I could not afford to maintain and feed one!

I did once own a sweet little Korean War era Jeep once. Bought it my second year of college and a Jeep has been in the driveway most of the time since then, going on 100 years now...

I do like the looks of that new truck though.

There is an old Dodge 3/4 ton down the road and I have a plasma cutter and welding torch.....

I didn't read the specs on it, but hopefully (and with that price tag it probably is) it has been up armored for troop protection.

Well I'm glad that Oshkosh B'gosh finally found something besides children's apparel to sell... Now that short little Austrian Actor and former Governor of California can buy a vehicle made my the same company that makes the clothes in his closet...

I suppose if a fellah parked one of those in his driveway and crawled up in the turret the neighbors would be apt to complain. Then again, if you swung it around in their direction the complaints would probably be cut short. It would be a decent deterrent to theft around the house however.

I don't know Rick someone from Compton would probably just come and take it, put it in a chop shop, disasseble then move the parts to Mexico. Sell to the Sentaloa cartel. Good luck getting it back from El Chapa.

When I worked for a company that made huge open pit minning equipment we cut the beds of the dump trucks down the centerline with a torch so that each side could fit on one rail road car. Then shipped them all over the world that way. Welded them back together at the mine.

The truck I drove in Iraq was an Oshkosh. About the same time, the Marines were getting a new 7 ton, also made by Oshkosh. They make good trucks as far as I can tell.

Wrong Oshkosh company....The truck maker is Oshkosh Corporation, formerly Oshkosh Truck.
