Apparently that what set off the alarms?

Stopped today at the Big Lots Clearance store and picked up 2 more cards of those cheapo flashlights......5 to a card w/batteries $10 bucks.

Was thinking about taking them in, and giving one to each of the ladies....but there are about 20 working there....the store only had 2 cards left...or 10 flashlights.....LOL...We will see.
Large hospital systems are generally Simplex and not ADT. Each head nowadays reports back to the panel digitally and tells them where they are floor room etc. As the system ages there is a accumulation of dust and other things that can generate false alarms. When a unit's LED stays solid after a alarm that's the one that needs to be replaced. The Batteries are fallible after 5 years or sooner and are required to be replaced or maintained. Most companies including ADT fail to do the right thing.

The biggest false alarm? Dust Mites. You can tell when you have a bad detector - it will have a dark brown round spot smaller than a pencil lead on the outside shell - where the female laid the eggs.

“There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag … We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language … and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

    Theodore Roosevelt 1907
