Hi all. I live in New England, but grew up on a mountain in south Tennessee. I've lived in the Mahoning Valley of Pa., and in north Georgia. Been tramping the woods all my life. Looking forward to discussing and learning new things here!

Hello and welcome.
Welcome Nighthawk. What part of N GA?
I'm close to Athens.
When all else fails, read the directions, and beware the Chihuahuacabra!
Welcome. Dyslexia had me take a double take, almost thought you wrote "trapping in the woods." A friend of mine who moved to AR had some great fur traps, I could use some for dang cats and squirrels that will not go in my "have a heart" live trap that only seems to work on opossums. ha ha ha Only joking, last thing I need is to go to jail for cruelty to neighborhood animals or trapping in suburbia without a permit out of season. No closed season for nutria and there are a BUNCH of those 1/4 mile from my home down by the neighborhood creek.
Do you live in a New England "free state"? Or one of the southern state-suburbs of New Yorkistan?
Welcome to the forum from another New Englander.
If we are to have another contest in…our national existence I predict that the dividing line will not be Mason and Dixon's, but between patriotism & intelligence on the one side, and superstition, ambition & ignorance on the other…
