Default 75 year old woman survives in Ravine for 2 days

I did not see any other thread on this forum about this. Basically reminded me of the importance of always having some well sealed water bottles, first aid kit, and app on your cell phone that tracks your location that your family and friends can easily pull up (many are available, they all can and do fail but better than nothing, also backup battery for phone.) I also have fire starter, water purification, signaling device, snacks, space blanket, tarp, extra "walking" shoes etc.

I prefer re-useable water bottle for everyday use but disposable ones seal better for longer term storage or use teflon tape (plumber's supply) on the treads for long term use of a re-useable aluminum or stainless steel bottle and store in rear of vehicle in a protected container (front end crash) so you may be able to get it as well as one or more near driver seat. I am often out hiking and realize I need more than what I took or someone else did not bring enough water. So I cycle thru these often.
