    Default Hello from Wisconsin!

    Hi Everyone!
I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this site while looking for answers to some of my (many) primitive skills questions. There seem to be a lot of experienced folk on this site, with a wealth of knowledge. I look forward to following the threads and learning from you all.

Welcome to the forum. The parts of Wisconsin that I have been through were very pretty. I hope you enjoy reading the different threads and that you them of value to you. What kind of camping do you enjoy? How long have you been a camper? Looking forward to hearing about your adventures and experiences!

    In response to DSJOHNSON:
In addition to taking the family on week long outings, I really enjoy solo canoe camping in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, and solo trips on the Wisconsin River. I'm hoping to get up to the Quetico of Canada one of these years to do some exploring up that way too.

Welcome from Alaska. I'd love to hear about your canoeing experiences. After you post 10 posts, you can post pictures. I'm canoeing from Eagle, AK to Circle, AK on the Yukon River later this summer in my 17' Grumman.

I went to the McCoy Job Corps Center in McCoy Wisconsin, right near both La Crosse and Sparta and right next door to the new military camp there at McCoy. Beautiful country.....
