Sunday morning featured many story's last week, but one stood out when discussing cooking in third world countries A gasification stove that provides light while boiling water Aprovecho Design designed this and it clearly may need some improvement but check out the video!

I watched that show as well. They had a number of really neat stoves. You know you have it down pretty well when a wood fire doesn't make smoke. I didn't realize that so many people in the third world die from cooking fire smoke inhalation. It makes sense, I just didn't realize it. I was pretty impressed with the lantern too.
