    Default Ruger American Rimfire Compact

Just picked up a threaded Ruger American rimfire compact in .22 LR. Got it out to the range, and it does very nice with my Warlock II suppressor.
Takes standard 10/22 mags. Even seems to feed well with a couple of the "Butler Creek" ones that my semi autos don't not like.

Put a different scope and the stock riser on it (stock riser comes with the rifle), and at 50 yards it does VERY well. Suppressor does not effect accuracy one bit.

Yes, that used to be a fly.

It's a forum software glitch. I've fixed it three times, but it keeps going away.

Yep - that's another way to fix it......looks like it might take better than the way I've been doing it.

Ditto. I keep fixing them and they keep leaving. This one has been a bit more irksome than most.

The pictures are there just hidden from view in the original post. So they appear when you do a quote.

I is very quiet, with subsonic ammo. With bulk ammo the "crack" is a bit further away, rather than right at the muzzle.

50 yards. Not outstanding, but fun.

I want to try the .22magnum with the short stock.

I think it would be a very good meat getter and survival rifle .
