Default I got a Retirement Gift from my Wife.

Three more days, and I will retire. I shall dwell on my book, hiking, survival classes and my hobbies being Mountain Biking, Motorcycling and also my Radio Controlled Aero Modelling...

Look at what my wife gave me, as a retirement gift:-

My dad's site. He builds and sells them. But he started off when we were kids with wire controlled planes.

Do I miss work? Let me think about it...no. You are going to be surprised just how busy you will be. You are going to wonder how you ever had time to work.

Congratulations Tokwan! I have been retired for a little over 11 years. Your wife is on the right track, the more hobbies when you retire... the better. My number on hobby is camping and fishing and crabbing which also include boating, about six and a halve months out of the year, amateur radio (extra class license), hiking, this are some hobbies that keep me busy year round.

My wife gets on to me if I'm crabbing. She calls me grouchy. But, hey, it's a hobby.

I do collect hongs. I just don't collect old hongs. A guy has to have some kind of standards.
