I use one at times. It does the job. Not anything in an excellent fashion, but overall it works.

I had two, pre-divorce, now I have zero
I liked them in the 90's when I bought them
just looked on google images
reminds me of a Fairbairn-Sykes
just from the pics
too big/long for me
if I want something that big, i'll get a machete
.

there are two types of wild food enthusiasts,
one picks for enjoyment of adding something to a meal,
and the second is the person who lives mostly on ( wild ) edibles

I have used mine on and off now for five years. Its down to what you intend to want it to do. Its a bit long for small carving on traps, I use a pocket knife with a 3 inch blade most of the time. It hasn't the weight to chop with really well and not brilliant at battoning wood , so its not a wood processing knife! Its design, rather than the Fairburn is more a bayonet, M3 or 4 but thinner blade. They were designed for stabbing the enemy and opening tins! It does get and hold a good edge so cutting 550 and string its is a breeze! That's about all I can say about it! I don't use mine as a woods knife, a Mora will beat it hands down and at half the price so take from that what you will. JMHO. Hope its some help.
Received the knife yesterday. It's going to need a good sharpening. The saw is useless.
