Default Living in a Tiny House.......Portlandia

I get the Tiny House News Letter....they have a satirical video in this.

    http://tinyhousetalk.com/funny-tiny-...living-satire/

I have to laugh at this....... for as many years that we spent in the original "Place"....1963 Shasta Trailer....Camping, hunting, practicing all sorts of off grid and survival methods type..... vacations?

    LOL.

Good vid. I had a micro hotel room the other day. No chair, just sit on the bed and you were at the desk. To change the thermostat you had to move the TV. The clothes in the closet had to hang sideways. To charge your phone you had to decide between unplugging the lamp or clock. For the bathroom, you had to close the door to wash your hands or get a glass of water. If you wanted to use the toilet, well, you think about throwing a leg into the shower.

I hear ya. I once stayed in a room that the door hit the wall before it was half open. It was pretty small. I would say I had to sleep standing up but that would be a slight exaggeration. But only a slight one. The door part is true.

Back when a Motel 6 really was $6, the rooms were pretty tiny.

LOL we just stayed in a Motel 6 in Illinois, in January....they allowed dogs.....
Must have been 200 plus units.....I requested a lower on then back....(for the dog)

At midnight the "other 2 guests" noisily show up... two rooms down.......(like WTH, what about the other 195 rooms?)
    Dog barked.....and I didn't care....

You go girl, Boogie Bears out side......

What do you expect for $30 bucks?....Was clean, (no didn't use a black light) warm....got in late, left early......Was OK.

When I moved to texas in a 23 foot travel trailer with 4 kids and 2 adults 15 years ago I never realized I was such a pioneer in the tiny house movement. lol

It wasn't terrible, we did spend a lot of time outside.

I so enjoy the satire form of humor best. Funny video.
