Blaser’s new break action combination gun is a triple barrel design that gives shooters a lot of variation with each trigger pull. The BD14 is a drilling gun, which derives its name from the German word for three and not the mechanical act of boring.

The top chamber/barrel is designed for the 20 gauge shotshell. The lower chamber/barrel can be had in any of the following calibers:
    •5.6×52 R (aka .22 Savage High-Power)
    •6.5×55
    •6.5×57 R
    •7×57 R
    •7×65 R
    •.308 Win
    •.30-06
    •.30 R Blaser
    •8×57 IRS
    •9.3×74

The third chamber/barrel can be had in one of these four calibers:
    •.22 Hornet
    •.222 Rem
    •5.6×50 R Magnum
    •5.6×52 R

It appears the third barrel, mounted on the right side of the gun, is adjustable allowing for regulation with the primary barrels. Trigger weights are listed as 1 lb, 7 oz.

Finds you a hunting spot, drives you there, makes camp, wakes you up in the morning w/fresh coffee....cooks breakfast, does dishes, takes you out to a good spot, runs game past you, shoots it, cleans it, hauls it out....takes you the saloon, buys drinks and brags to everyone how good of a hunter you are.

    Nice find Rick.........HOLY SMITT

Most of the ones I have seen are the Savage M24, M6 and such double barrels.
The has been a drilling making the gun show circuit for a couple of years.(I go to several shows a year).....different guys showing it.

Was a DB 16 ga. side bay side with a 30.caliber (7.82 X something weird) under and between the DB....
Guy wanted like $2800 for it a few years ago...lately , last fall, was @ $1600....
    Kinda poor shape....

There are many configurations for "drillings" (3 barrels) and others...

If there was a demand for cheap drilling company like Baikal or Rossi could make some for the market

but the american seems to dislike them!

I see the space baikal gun make a return with longer barrels and short stock. The ultimate survival / hunting gun for general

purpose! It would have to be simple and not overly complicated like the german/austrian masterpiece!

double trigger shotgun with an Under barrel rifle of medium caliber (separate firing mecanism)

    One can only dream!
