Where's Ken? I think we have a lawsuit here. Vigilante justice based on purely circumstantial evidence. I'm thinking wrongful death, loss of income, mental anguish to family. Oh the humanity! ... or in this case ... Oh the minkanity!

Congratulations! Sorry about your chickens, though. Good to hear you finally got the culprit!

I would ask that my client be referred to as MISTER Ermine.

Nice catch...they are sneaky little bass turds.

DW decorated her one of her buck skin dress with several ermine hides in the past......
She likes to call them "vermin".......and she is pretty much correct.

FYI, for those that don't know

I saw one of those in my yard a few years ago. Those suckers are FAST. I thought it would go for my chickens, but never did.

Stupid ermine. It should have known better than to pick on the home of a trapper.

Involves a 1" hole in a tree 2 or 3" deep....have seen them on pines......
Hamburger or bacon stuffed into hole, and left to kinda rot.

4 large spikes or deck screws put in at an angle into hole...one on each side/top and bottom......Sort of a >O<...with the 4 points about 1/2 inch apart close to the hamburger/bacon.

Animal smells the rancid meat...sticks head in, and get the "points"s behind the head and can't get out......

    ....Or so I've heard.....
