Many folks might not realize that the Vulcan salute and the greeting of "Live long and prosper" were part of Nemoy's Jewish heritage, a blessing from God.
Or that "Live long and prosper" was the reply to the first half of the greeting which was "Peace and long life."
For some reason, now that I am past 60, 83 no longer seems as old as it once did.
