Well I passed on the ford. The guy selling it is a good friend of mine and was willing to part from it for 1800. He needs the money. The motor runs sound just a few external parts needed looked at. Interior was run down as it was his hunting truck and there were plenty of dings in the body. Perfect for what I wanted. But he got an offer for 4,000 and I told him to take it. He'll make more money and I know he needs it.
Good move Josh. It is great to get a deal, but not at the expense of a good and true friend. Most friendships outlast any car/truck will.

That's what I figured. He seemed to feel bad about it but I'm perfectly fine with it. He got laid off the oil fields and I know he needs some extra cash. I told him deals will come and go but chances to make money now days are more rare than not.
It just wasn't "right"....your deal will come along.
I have the car wash owner guy lusting after my '99 F-150....just Monday he aske me about it again when I was there with the 2008 getting the road salt off.
Says, "Are you even gonna part with that truck?"....
My comments were, "Where can I replace a "99 4X4 extended cab, tow package, V-8 w/120K miles on it?........LOL

Nothing at all wrong with a Toyota.
I've been driving a Toyota for several years now and have over 300k on it. Drove it some places I probably shouldn't have but it didn't let me down. The parts haven't been as difficult to find, less expensive than most others, and a lot easier to work on than a lot others.
Yeah, its a 96 camry.
