Cool. I'm headed out for a five day canoe trip on the Suwannee River in March.

Sorry I didn't answer this earlier. I don't know. I can't find a tag on it. It is very similar to the Camp Chef ones, but not as nice. My MIL gave it too me because it was so big and she never used it for the 10 years she had it. I use it all the time with the scouts.

Thanks for looking. Camp Chef stoves are nice but pricey. Especially when I can convert an old Coleman and still have more invested in the propane than in the stove.

Hey everyone! Now that March is over I will be doing the drawing this weekend for the 3 Mora knives. Had a death in the family and was unable to visit as much as I wanted.

For my trip I took my father-in-law to a survival course to get him more acquainted with the skills he would need if he ever found himself in a potential life or death scenario. Putting the link in here for people to see http://bigpigblog.com/2015/03/12/cla...-first-timers/

If it has to be removed I can see about posting up some pictures I took. It was a great class and we had some fun while fine tuning some skills. The reason behind this class was to open his eyes and for him to be so complacent. He likes to hike a local mountain and he is usually very under prepared. No water, inadequate clothing, and so on. This class has got him rethinking some items and I hope he stays on track.

Hey guys! We had another forum member throw in a few items and they should be at the house in the next couple of days. Depending on all what I receive we may have enough for everyone a prize. This has delayed the drawing/give away and I am sorry for that. Will check back in once I have received the items.

Alright, it looks like we have five items in all. Counted and verified by another party that we have five entries. This means that everyone should be getting something.

    The prizes are as follows:

handmade knife from chert, sinew, and jawbone,
    altoids tin fire kit
    mora companion
    mora companion
    mora companion

And the winners by random drawing are

    1. Xjosh40x
    2. Hayshaker
    3. finallyME
    4. crash
    5. MrFixIt

Xjosh you get first pick, hayshaker second, and so on.
