Okay, some pics don't work. The next one should be, 'wait 3 hours after the fire is no longer burning'.
    Than break open the oven.
And the last picture did what he should do...apear..

If your picture is too large you will get an error back. The picture size is controlled to prevent gigantic pictures from being posted and then folks have to scroll up and down or left and right to see it. Here are the file types and sizes. Your file or pic can be no larger than this.

    bmp 19.5 KB.....620X280
    doc 19.5 KB
    gif 19.5 KB.....620X280
    jpe 19.5 KB.....620X420
    jpeg 78.1 KB.....620X420
    jpg 97.7 KB
    pdf 19.5 KB
    png 19.5 KB.....620X280
    psd 19.5 KB

@Hunter, just heat it up a little and you can use it as a sort of glue.

Sizing is the most common problem. check your pixel numbers as well. I think you can go with higher pixels on the jpeg that what I've stated but that's the default for attachments. If that's not it let me know what your error message is. You might also try an image service like photobucket.

It is a strange thing with the pics. There is a signe that tell's me; ....exeeds your quota by 48.2 KB. But the picture is just 68 KB, so what could be the problem?

I don't know what the upper limit is for total attachments size. That's set in the database. I'll check with Chris. I suspect that's what it is. In the meantime, I would suggest you use a 3rd party picture service like tinypic or photobucket.

To answer your question, you appear to be at the upper limit with only 19.8 KB left. If you tried to post a pic at 68 KB that would put you over by 48.2.

There used to be an upper limit on the number of attachments a member could post. Not sure what/if it is set at now.

@Crashdive, I don't think so, today I tried again and there was the same message. There is no possibility to post a picture. Even a pic of 36 KB.
    "Exceeds your quota with 38.2 KB...etc,etc.." Yeah,...right..

I think your problem is the number of Kb you have stored as attachments. I've sent a note to Chris to confirm. I can't see that part of the database.
