I had a good day today...

Christmas was here early in Delaware. I went on a nature hike with a buddy of mine, and we came home with quite box full of goodies. Half of it was tulip poplar bark that I plan to dry out a bird-nest, the other half being a mix of fatwood and birch bark. We certainly enjoyed the day, even after the rain that we had earlier last week. Has anybody else gotten a good score on a nature hike or outing?

Ive gone on a hike and brought home a cold more than once! HA HA!

Fatwood is not too terribly hard to find here, pine is very common in our area... but Ive not found any Birch yet.. still looking.

A bad day in the woods is always better than a good day a work.
