Default Anyone gonna get in the $200 rebate from HK?

Well, you have until the end of the year to get in on HKs $200 rebate! The rebate applies to the USP line (USP, USPc, USP Tacticals, USP Expert), HK45 (both full size and compact), P30 (all variants), Mk23 & MR rifle line. The actual rebate is two $100 Visa gift cards. Word on the forums is that rebates are arriving within about two weeks!

I'm a bit torn on what to get. I'm leaning towards picking up a P30L or P30LS. My P30S is maybe my favorite all-around sidearm and the L version is the same but with a longer barrel. This time around I'm bound and determined to take the leap and try a LEM trigger, too. My second choice is probably an HK45c, always wanted one and this would be a good time. Overall I'm thinking I'll get a .40 S&W; right now I have a USPc in .40 and I want to keep one forty since ammo is always available. But I think I'll trade or sell the USPc .40 since I have a USPc in 9mm as well. I think I'd rather have another model that I don't already have vs two of the same just in different calibers. Also I think if I only have one .40 I'd rather have a full size.

Anyone else planning on picking up an HK during the rebate season?

Sounds great until you see the prices for those guns.
I have been looking at the Blackhawk recently myself. Nice.

Sounds like a good deal. I've got too many "things" on my wish list right now to take advantage of it.

HKs are higher than a Glock but nothing like a Wilson Combat or Les Baer, and an HK45, USP45 or Mk23 with shoot every bit as well. They don't cost much more than your average Colt and are cheaper than a Kimber (and much better IMO). German Sigs are about the same price, too.

At the moment I have six HKs, although I'm planning a canoe trip this weekend and I plan to take them with me. Might need all my guns, and what could go wrong?

I drank the Sig kool aid, gonna hafta pass on an HK, though I do like them... My P250 is several hundred dollars cheaper, and every bit as accurate and reliable. :-)
