Hello from NE Pennsylvania.
Hello everybody, seems like I know a bunch of the members here from other forums, and for those that don’t know me my name is Mike and I live in NE PA. I love camping, hiking, boating, fishing, cooking both indoors as well as outdoors, and target shooting. I have been camping and hiking for a very long time since I was a child. I was lucky enough to had worked outdoors for 25 years, and have been retired for 11 years and I also served in the Army (Ifantry). I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America since my son was a Tiger Cub; I did my one week Wood Badge Adult Leader Training. I was also involved with the Civil Air Patrol in ground sear and rescue as well as plane observer, for I am not a pilot. After I retired both my wife and me began camping for 7 month a year in the State of Virginia, there we crab and fish, cook, and enjoy campfires with my friends. While camping I get to test some of my emergency/survival equipment such as stoves, knives, water filters, and other equipment. Love cooking with cast iron cookware both indoors as well as outdoors, in Virginia as well as in Pennsylvania. Thank you for letting me join your forum, and hope to make a bunch of new friends. Mike
