    Default Altoids Tin Survival Uses

I am looking for some ideas on what to do with my 23 Altoids containers. Right now I am using one for a fire kit and one for a fishing kit. I need more ideas on what to use them for.
Check me out on youtube. Thanks, Billy

I love them. I usually stuff some band aids, tweezers, mini BIC lighter, few feet of 550 cord, and a fishing hook wrapped with 20 pound test for fishing or snares.

I'm thinking about using a Altoids Tin to stuff some water purification tablets in and on to use as a medication tin, separate little baggies labeled with type of medication such as head ache, fever reducer, anti septic, anti biotics, ect.

Mine get used in three different ways. One for a "survival" tin. A second for flint and steel along with charring cloth. And a third for small first aid items. I have nore than one of each.

Look up "Rock Mite" - it is a ham radio kit for a real-deal transceiver that fits in an Altoids tin. Quite a few hams seems fascinated with what they can stuff in one of the tins...

    Cool Well, since you asked...

What about a "signal kit" using a Starflash mirror, a flat whistle, etc,?

Myself the only use I have for them is in a fire kit similar to this one:
