    Default What's up!

    Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, I just registered today. However, I've been lurking for a while, I just haven't posted.

My name is Ben. I'm 16.

I come from Welland, Ontario, Canada. Winter just arrived a couple days ago, it's about -3 C right now.

I love the outdoors, I love it so much I made it my job. I just started my own outdoor company called Badger Outdoor. I hope one day to be able to make enough money so that I can get a nice cabin and live off the grid.

Right now I've mostly been obsessed about photography. I love to take pictures of nature. I spend most of my time outside finding new areas and trails to take pictures of.

I go camping and hiking a lot with my family (probably once a month) but haven't really got the chance to go backpacking anywhere.

Once I get older that's something i'd like to do. I live near the Bruce Trail (largest trail in Canada). So now I'm gonna start prepping for my expedition. Hopefully I get some stuff for christmas lol.

I haven't had much training, or experience for that matter. The only thing i'm trained in is first aid, i'm certified as a lifeguard.

I had one crazy experience where it came in handy. I was tubing down the elora gorge, which has some pretty fast rapids. But I fell off my tube, then got swept into the rapids, I had to fight my way out, that's when my swimming skills came in handy.

So I've had some experience in the wilderness but I would say i'm a beginner. I haven't prepared for anything but i'd like to start.

So in summary, my hobbies and interests are: Photography, Camping, First Aid, Outdoor Business. And I'd like to get into backpacking.

I can't wait to meet you guys and learn!

Spamming the board. He ignored repeated warnings. We don't believe he was 16 either.

What do you mean? It was on the internet, so it has to be true. Right?
