    Unhappy Vets funeral

The DW and I are down in KY just South of Fort Knox to bury a Nam Vet who was a SeeBee over there in '71 and was injured. He came down with some kind of cancer in July and stayed in the V A hospital in Louisville until he passed last week. He is my step daughters father in law. He was only 60 years old. I only knew him some, but every time I would see him he was always so happy and always seemed to be smiling. He had some kind of back injury and had lost a finger.
He has a son and daughter, and three grand children. He will be so missed.

Every time an older person dies, its like burning a full set of encyclopedias that will never be published again. So, if you ever want to learn more of anything, just find a old tradesman and hang out with him and then when he passes on, not the full set will burn, you'll have parts of it to pass on to others.
