Slime makes sense for ATV, mower and true emergency but not my first choice for an automobile. We purchased a Kia Soul for my HS daughter, dealer insisted they do not come with any type of spare only slime and road side assistance (i.e. hope ur phone has coverage, works, they get there to tow ur kid before she gets mugged. ) So I made a big loud fuss about the insanity of it and they gave us a tiny spare for no extra cost. Was a 300% dealer mark up on it that really made me even more angry. Not gonna pay THAT!

just caught up to this post, I put green slime in my mowers a couple yrs ago, it was good for all that yr, then they started going flat again, I bought tubes off Ebay and put them in a couple weeks ago, all the green slime had turned to a whitish colored goo, I had to hook up a hose to the hot water tank to wash the stuff out, I would never use it again, just go to tubes.

The comments on automobile tire use of slime is spot on. While we use it in the small ranch stuff, never in the car/truck tires.

AAA... I thought Rick was using the Boston pronounciation of Air. AA-ah.

Use in in my lawn tractor tires and so far its done a good job for me. Before I put it in, I had to pump one of the front tires up each time I used it. But not since I slimed it !

The weather may affect the slime and rubber tires depending on what part of the country you're in and the temps, sometimes here it's up to a hundred and humid, other times it's below 0, this yr I'm going to put washer fluid in a couple mowers and maybe even the Massey Fs.
