    Default deerskull cerimonial rattle

im just getting finished on a very ornate cerimonial deerskull rattle. tomorrow deer season opens up
here in western mn. so it,s off to the butcher for deer legs and sinew. yes sinew free sinew.
i,m going to cover 2/3rds of the shaft in deer hair the bottom end will have a deers foot. the skull has 1opts.
and is painted.the shaft will also have scalplocs, feathers, bells and buckskin frindge. so there you go that,s my rattle
im starting on another one that will have a black bear lower jaw attached to the deer skull.
made a couple of cow jaw warclubs las week as well as a couple of stone point warclubs.
and blessed the whole shop with sage sweetgrass and tobbacco as a burnt offering.

You keep describing these projects. I wish you were able to post pics of them all.
Would love to see your work...

Is this a "native thing" or anything like that? Sorry for asking, but I guess you already know I am nowhere near the States.
I'm a Gramp who is not computer savvy, give me a slab and the rock ages tablet..I will do fine!
