    Default Hello from bigbob

Hi. I am interested in knapping, primitive tools, wilderness survival in blue ridge and G.Washington forest in VA.
Know how to make effective shelters, snares/traps, quickie bows.
Interested in good locations to find chert, flint etc in this area.
My tent has worn out, so interested in real good all-weather 2 person tent. Recommendations?
Would be interested in groups in area with same interests.

    Welcome from GA!
As far as tents, there are many great ones available to fit your budget. Do some research and figure "your" needs for a tent in.
Good luck and let us know what you came up with!
When all else fails, read the directions, and beware the Chihuahuacabra!

Welcome. I may be close to you. My husband and I enjoy that area as well.
