    That's true.
Seems like everyone has to buy one and see from them selves.
So, explaining that a $100 buck knife is better than a $10 buck (7 buck on sale)make no sense to some one doesn't have or won't spend the $100 bucks....mostly falls on deaf ears....particularly afte some one has already been sucked in and bought one.

Now add on that a $10 buck Mora is 100 times the knife the HF offering is for the same money....make no difference as the Mora's are a tool, not sexy....and don't have all the BS included......

So rather that beat our collective heads against the wall......I just suggest the owner carry a spare.

    That said....I do own a couple....different styles........I like "Cool" as well.....BUT
    I carry a better knife........or I should say I don't carry a HF knife at all....but is around somewhere..

I agree. I would also add Kershaw to that list.

I never even knew I needed another knife until I joined this forum. Then I realized how knife poor I was.

I've never had a harbour freight knife, but I just bought a mora companion last night and I'm super excited for it to arrive.

About once a month the people at Smoky Mountain Knife Works send me a catalogue.

I am waiting for the government to find out about my addiction and allow me to file for disability,

So I can use the check to buy more knives!!!!!

Anyway, there are always two things I look for as soon as the book arrives, the 12 PACK of the month (12 folders for $20) and the cheapest Mora.

If you just got on the Mora bandwagon recently you missed all the real fun. Just a couple of years back you could get a Mora Clipper for $7 and the Mora tradesman was only $5. Thing was the knife was only $5 but the shipping was $8 !!!!!

It never pays to order just one Mora. That is why so many of us have a string of paracord hanging from a nail with Moras strung on it like little fish.

Then we wind up with a Mora in each car and a Mora in each pack and a Mora in the tackle box, and another in each tool box, Moras duct taped to rifle slings and Moras hanging from buttons on our coats and all manner of strange improvisations.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
