For the most part, you won't find a place like that...on the internet. The internet lists paying sites for people with campers. Go to google maps, and look for the green areas. Out here in the west, we have BLM. A quick trip to the BLM office will get you a map of all BLM areas. Then you pick a spot you want to go, and go there. Half the fun is figuring out where to go. National Forests are also good options. National Forests show up green on google maps.

Yep..anyone can give you an advise, and going out and survivive the outdoors with just a knife and some ropes sounds cool...and before I go on..please introduce yourself. I think the admins overlooked this.
Didn't overlook it, just ignored it. It's a drive-by. 21 posts and only one of those is from the OP? Probably somebody we banned in the past.....

Un word to the wise.... if you don't get caught that type of hunting ain't illegal. Lol. I've been told by several law enforcement officers in different branches.... " if it came down to starving or eating damn straight I'd hunt out our season. " ;-) try talking to the conservation officers if there is a way to do so with not getting in trouble. Or get a small game license and try doing your test while the different game season's overlap.....

There is a big difference in a survival situation and a planned breaking of the law because one has little or no regard for it. Survival may be the one of the latest marketing buzzwords, but it isn't a game. Those that treat it as such will likely end up with what they deserve.

No one here will suggest or condone any kind of hunting fishing or harvesting out of season. .....that would be on you.
    Just saying.

Illegal - Contrary to or forbidden by law, especially criminal law.

Just because you don't get caught doesn't change the definition. One who commits criminal acts is still a criminal.

If you are in Florida, get in touch with a guy named Blade! He will take you to his favorite high spot in the middle of a huge swamp, and teach you how to survive with only a knife!
He will teach you how to let anacondas swallow you, then pull out your knife and rip them wide open. He will tech you how to whittle out a log cabin with your knife.
He will teach you how to kill peoples tires and use them for making survival items without going to jail. And he will also teach you how to get banned from a forum of serious bushcraft members.

Man we must be really bored!!!

    Somebody post something interesting.

    Anyone seen a sasquatch lately???

There are usually a rash of bigfoot sightings just before hunting season, surely someone has seen a big hairy humanoid like creature roaming the woods lately,

or was that just Hunter63 out scouting deer?

    Do you like pie?

How sharp is a knife supposed to be?

How many pounds will 550 cord support?

If you got chiggers, whats the best way to get rid of them?

What water filter do you like the best?

if you fart in your sleeping bag... do you lay still, or fluff it out?

First thing after sleeping in the woods: Hot coffee or hot coco?

Pick one of the above, comment, discuss...
