Miniature Weapons. Just a small side hobby.

I have a small hobby on the side where I make these miniature weapons. Though there are some traditional Katana blade making techniques I couldn't do because of their size; they are real blades made with most of the same techniques as a real sword. Not to mention they do have rare woods and metals incorporated so these are far from toys.

Now that is pretty cool....you do heat treating and forming of the blades?

And yes they are heat treated. Because when I silver solder the pommels to the tangs, the blades need to be re-treated otherwise they will be to brittle. At the end of the process, they have a nice flex to them and keep a good edge if sharpened.

I would love to try the traditional folding technique on these but they are far to small to do that unfortunately.

Thanks for the kind words, ElevenBravo. And I know the feeling, my eyes are starting to go too as I have a job that requires me to sit in front a computer screen all day. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to keep this stuff up!
