If I could do that I wouldn't be searching for my glasses for 20 minutes only to find them on top of my head.

Don Bradley? Is that you? Are you staring at goats, again?

For those trained (mostly by CIA, etc.), it seems to work...somewhat. I've never been trained, nor tried it; but, I was on the receiving end once; and, it's pretty creepy.

I wasn't familiar with the term (was thinking about remote cams like 1stimestar posted regarding aurora viewing) so I looked it up.

Is this what you are asking about?

When I was a kid, my dad didn't have a remote to view the tv with. So, he would tell me to go change the channel. I always had to use pliers, which is why I thought the reason they were called channel locks was because you used them to change the channel.

Now-a-days, I use a remote to view TV, so yeah, I like remote viewing. Another method of remote viewing is to pick up a tv remote.........and look at it. Not as exciting as looking at a tv.......as long as the tv is on. If the tv is off, then looking at the remote is about as exciting.

I have been known to watch paint dry so viewing the remote wouldn't be so bad. Besides, I'd probably find some new buttons I can't figure out how to work.

Finding new buttons on the remote is easy. Finding the right button to undo whatever made the picture go sideways, now there's a lot of remote cursing.

When I was a kid we lived out in the country. As this was way before cable we had an antenna in the yard which sometimes had to turned/adjusted. The good news is dad had a remote for the antenna. The bad news is that I was the remote!

Guess you were lucky the antenna wasn't on the roof!
