A couple of years ago I picked up a recurve crossbow and a bunch of spare parts for it. It was in the Cabelas bargain cave for a fraction of the price. It is an extremely simple device. Simple to use and quite accurate. I'd say its quieter than any firearm without a suppressor on it.

If I ever run out of ammo, it will be a bow and arrow for defense. The bow and arrow to me is one of the most fearsom weapons ever designed. I would much rather be shot with a gun!

I personally like a beast airgun. One that shoots better then a 22. The reason for that is because the ammo is cheap and compact. I would do small game with those and big game with traps.

Yep, some of us have an expiration date stamped right there on the med bottle.

In that SHTF fantasy world where others are building their warlord empire and fighting zombies I will be the little old guy scouring the shattered pharmacies looking for betta-blockers and statins.
