How much do you pay for internet?

I was paying $250 (internet only, no cable tv here). My provider just got a new service that dropped it down to around $190 a month so I am happy. But I remember back when I lived in town paying about $25-$40 a month for internet. I realize that was several years ago so just wondering what average people are paying for it now.

Edited to add, we have limit caps and always go over, that's why it's so high. But we have the highest limit available. But with homeschooling, Netflix, and my son's internet gaming, it is a lot of band width.

we pay about 150$ a month for cable,landline phone and the web.
when we move to the woods.it will be a different story.
the neighbors are off the grid.they have huges network dish and xfinity hooked up.
i suppose we shall do this.

I don't personally have internet at my house, but the community library provides free 24 hour wifi. I can also access it while at work (where I'm at now). Satellite internet is the only option out here since there are no phone lines that connect our community with the rest of the island. Starband is the most popular and affordable, its $2k for the dish hook-up and a three year contract at $80 per month with VERY limited download allowance. The local library has a much better satellite provider (can't remember the name) and we get 3-5 megabit download speeds with unlimited downloads. This costs them around $2200 per month, paid for by grants of course.
That's why I don't have the net at home, or TV for that matter. I can drive the 3 miles to the library a LOT for $80 per month. I can sit outside in my car with my laptop and surf till my heats content for free.

Pre fire I used mobile hotspots. $10 a gigabyte which usually worked out to about $150 a month

I run just under $150 a month for net, telephone and cable TV.

I am under $100 for internet and phone...no cable TV. A choice I made to have all these animals instead, they are our TV. One thing I do though is when the "intro" offer is up I call and threaten to cut it off, if my rate is not restored. It's been working for going on 7 yrs.

About $65 a month via Cox for basic (read:lowest tier) enternet and basic (read:handfull of channels) cable.

We do a LOT of Netflix streaming since TV has zero good programming anymore. Thinking about adding Hulu for variety.

We had a land line, ($80 bucks) 2 cell phones ($60 bucks), cable TV and net ($120)......

Cable company Time Warner sent out a sales person, land line TV and internet $99 bucks......we went for it, cells still $60 bucks.
Also added a Version Modem for 'The Place" at $50, and a $30 buck Dish

Then after a year TW increased to $190 per month.........dropped them from everything, had home phone number to DW cell and kept mine....Still $60 bucks, started using Version Modem for all internet, Home, The Place, Louisiana, and on trips...and works well everywhere, but slower in the boondocks.

So Internet Modem $60 bucks works everywhere so far......
Two cell phones (dumb) $60
Two Dish accounts, $120 total city house and The Place

Covers us anywhere we go for phone and internet.......and "The Place" get the Dish shut down at no cost from Dec 15 to March 15th. or at my call.

Gonna have to replace phones soon....so looking into a combined phone w/internet

Wow, you guys do pay a lot. For fibre optic 50Mb unlimited broadband I pay £26.50 per month which is about $45 in your funny money.

That's about what I pay for cable internet. Adding television to it makes it go up quite a bit depending on which "package" you choose.

$70 month for cable tv and slowest internet package...which works just fine for me. I remember the old dial up internet days and it a heck of a lot fastr than that. Guess I'm not in a big hurty anyway and I don't download much anyway.

about $220 between satallitte tv and internet. I use hughs net for the internet and get 30gb of data......the part that sux is that 16gb of that is between 2am and 5am.

Internet is around $45 per month, satellite TV just under $40 and home phone (VOIP) $4 per month.

In US dollars I pay around $75 which gives me landline phone, unlimited local/national/international calls plus 78mb/s fibre broadband with unlimited downloads.
